No-UV gel nail wraps have changed the home manicure: a glossy gel finish, with no lamp, no drying and no appointment. Here's everything you need to know to choose them, apply them and make them last.
What are no-UV gel nail wraps?
They're also called gel wraps, gel strips or gel nail stickers. They're thin strips of real gel, cut to the shape of the nail and already cured in the workshop. Flexible and adhesive on the back, they keep the thickness and shine of a gel manicure.
Don't confuse them with "semi-cured" products: those are only half-hardened and still need to go under a UV or LED lamp after application. No-UV gel nail wraps go on as they are, with no device at all.
The advantages over regular polish and gel polish
- No lamp: nothing to buy, nothing to plug in, no UV exposure for your hands.
- No drying: you can use your hands straight away, with no risk of smudges.
- Quick to apply: allow about thirty minutes the first time, then around ten once you know how.
- Gentle removal: no buffing and no harsh remover, the natural nail stays intact.
- A crisp finish: the colour is even, with no spills, even for the finest designs.
What's in a box?
At Glamisu, each box contains 22 gel strips in different widths, a file, a boxwood stick and a prep wipe. With 22 sizes, every nail finds its width, from little fingers to thumbs: one box is one full manicure.
How to apply no-UV gel nail wraps, step by step
- Prepare the nail. Push back the cuticles with the stick, then clean the nail with the wipe to remove any trace of oil. A clean, dry nail is the key to long wear.
- Choose the right size. For each finger, take the strip whose width is closest to the nail, without touching the skin.
- Apply. Peel off the strip, place it a millimetre from the cuticle, then press from the centre outwards to push out the air.
- File off the excess. Fold the surplus over the tip of the nail and file downwards in one clean movement. It's dry, it's done.

How long do gel nail wraps last?
A Glamisu manicure lasts up to 14 days, depending on your routine and how the nail is prepared. Three reflexes make the difference: degrease the nail just before applying, avoid hot water in the following hour, and wear gloves for the washing-up and cleaning.
How to remove them without damaging your nails
No buffing needed. Gently lift a corner with the stick, then peel slowly, flat, towards the cuticle. If the gel resists, a little warm soapy water or a drop of oil under the edge helps release it. Never pull sharply: that way your natural nail stays intact for the next manicure.
Which shade to choose?
For every day, nudes like Nude Pink or Peach Nude go with everything. For an evening out, go for a deep red like Velvet Burgundy. Classic tastes will love Ivory French or the baby boomer, and the boldest the leopard Safari Night. Discover the 68 shades of no-UV gel nail wraps.
The best deal: build a box set
One box costs €19.90. In a 2+2, 3+3 or 4+4 box set, you freely choose your shades and half of the boxes are free, so less than €10 per manicure. Shipping is free from €39.90, to a pickup point or locker, in Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Spain.
In short
No-UV gel nail wraps give you the shine of gel without the hassle: no lamp, no drying, no appointment, and removal that respects the nail. Around ten minutes, once you know how, is enough for a manicure that lasts up to two weeks.
